Speedplay is the pedal we most-often recommend; they are light, easy to maintain, position the foot very close to the pedal spindle and allow your foot to float naturally. We ride them. They also offer a super range of customization that is very important for adapting pedals to the body since going to other way tends to cause pain.
Many customization options have been available from Speedplay for a long time, but now they’ve introduced a tool we had to have. The pro fit kit contains all pedal adjustment options in one package. This puts the whole battery of options on-site and in one case (we can actually find what we are looking for).
We can fine-tune your pedal configuration to accommodate leg-length differences, foot alignment, or knee travel while you are in the studio. Getting you dialed in without delay or multiple back-and-forth trips.
Included in the kit are Zero pedals in all available spindle lengths, cleat height extenders, wedges and shims, and all the screw options for the various configurations. We are excited about this tool both for its customization options and getting the right pedal and options ordered for you the first time.
